Is your waste recycling company duty of care certified?
Yes, we are Duty of Care certified. Trust in us to dispose of your waste legally and responsibly. We will provide you with the appropriate proof of documentation to dispose of waste lawfully while protecting the environment.
Do you offer evening and weekend property clearances?
Property clearance and waste collection services are available 7 days a week.
Does your company work out of hours?
Yes, we offer out-of-hours waste removal service to both Domestic & Commercial Clients.
Can you help remove items with a property insurance claim?
Yes, we can help. It is important to note that many home insurance policies allow you up to 180 days to make a claim. However, we advise you to get in touch with your insurance provider as soon as possible in case you need to file a claim. At LPM Waste Management Ltd, we can provide you with a free, no-obligation quote for removal services. Our team will list in-depth removal details that can be sent to you via email. You can forward our email response to your insurance company for further action.
You may wonder what is not covered by your house insurance. It is important to note that every policy is different, but generally, home insurance does not cover normal wear and tear, damages caused by vermin, or damages resulting from intentional acts. Additionally, you may need to provide receipts or proof of purchase for the items you are claiming for. If you don't have receipts, credit or debit card statements can be used as proof of purchase.
On the other hand, home insurance covers the financial protection of your home and belongings against loss, damage, and theft. There are two parts to it: buildings insurance, which covers the overall structure of your home, and contents insurance, which covers personal possessions on your property. How are bookings scheduled?
LPM Waste Management Ltd set out a daily waste collection schedule to meet each customer's requirements. Each customer is provided with a call-out date and time slot that is suitable for them.
What is WEEE recycling?
WEEE stands for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Recycling WEEE is a specialist service, and pretty much includes most products that have a plug or battery.
Do you recycle hazardous waste?
We do not recycle hazardous waste. There will be a list provided below to help if you are unsure what you need to look out for as a future reference. LPM Waste Management Ltd advises all customers to use their local authority to safely remove any hazardous waste in the correct way. Check if your waste is hazardous. Waste is generally considered hazardous if it (or the material or substances it contains) are harmful to humans or the environment. Examples of hazardous waste include asbestos chemicals, such as brake fluid or print toner solvents; pesticide oils (except edible ones), such as car oil equipment containing ozone-depleting substances, like fridges, and hazardous waste containers.

I’m putting my house on the market, can you get it ready?
Certainly, we can completely clear your house ready for it to be placed on the market.
Are you mindful of neighbours when collecting waste?
When you book our services, we can guarantee that our team will remove all waste respectfully and carefully. Our trained team will approach all jobs with caution and show the utmost respect to you and your neighbour's property.
What will you do with my waste?
We recycle and reuse as much as we can, and the rest is taken directly to licensed disposal facilities.

I’m a Landlord whose previous tenant has left a mess, can you help?
Certainly, we can be of help. With plenty of experience in house clearances. Before we go ahead with the house clearance, we ask in advance whether there are any items that might be of value to whom it may concern; let us know, and we’ll put it to one side for you.
How will you dispose of my confidential documents?
We offer a document destruction service, where all types of documents to be destroyed are professionally shredded. GDPR demands that any details on people that a company may have be destroyed after certain times.
How does your waste management service work?
Depending on your needs, we will come and collect your waste and transport it back for waste sorting. Our main priority is making life easy for you and reducing the amount of waste that is sent to landfills.
Preparing for Removal
Does my waste need to be outside?
We will collect your rubbish from inside, upstairs, outside - most locations, as long as it is safe to access. If you’re not going to be in you may want to move it outside or somewhere we can access it.
Does my waste need to be bagged?
Generally, it does not need to be bagged - we are happy to do a bit of running around to gather it all up. If waste is strewn in very small quantities over a large area you may want to consider bagging this waste to ensure we remove it all and to ensure there are no additional charges.
Does my waste need to be in one place?
We’re happy to collect your rubbish from multiple locations on your premises including across several rooms, so there is no need to put it all in one location. It can be helpful when the waste is clearly separated or in one place, particularly if someone else is showing us what to remove, and also to help provide a quote. It can also make the clearance go a little faster and reduce disruption, but it is certainly not a requirement.
Estimating and Quoting
How much waste do I have?
Sometimes it can be hard to accurately gauge how much you have to go. You can use our website to help and we typically give the guide of 2 small domestic washing machines around the same size as 1 cubic yard (0.83m3). However, customers can also email a list of items, a description of the waste or ideally send a photo of the waste. This will allow us to provide a much more accurate estimate of the collection size you require before booking.
How much does my rubbish weigh?
Bulky waste is typically around 50-60kg’s per cubic yard whilst heavy and dense waste could weigh as much as 1 tonne for a single cubic yard. For this reason, we will always ask whether you have any heavy and dense waste such as bricks, rubble, and soil, as this may impact the cost of removal. As a guide bricks weigh around 2kg each, a rubble sack usually weighs around 20-30kg and a tonne bag full of heavy and dense waste can be anywhere from 350kg - 1000kg. As long as you don’t have anything dramatically heavy weight will not be an issue and not usually something to consider from a cost perspective. If wish to be charged by precise weight we can provide this service and would charge off a calibrated weighbridge, but this would be a bespoke service booked separately with minimum charges.
Bookings
Can I prepay?
You can prepay for your waste online or over the telephone at the time of booking. This can save time when our team arrives to collect the waste and can be useful if you are not going to be in but the waste is accessible.
How do I pay?
Optional to pay by your preferred payment method: Cash, Bacs, or Klarna.
What if there is more or less rubbish on the day?
We only charge for what we have removed. If there is extra waste we will re-quote and take an extra payment or we can collect just what was originally booked in. We’re usually able to collect more rubbish on the day so if you do have some more items to add we will still get it all cleared. If you have prepaid for a collection and we end up collecting less we will reduce the cost and provide a refund for the difference.
Do you offer time slots?
We do offer all-day arrival, AM, PM, and 2-hour time slots. All-day helps us to plan the most economical and environmentally friendly route. There can be some variation on the day as sometimes jobs can end up taking a little longer than expected.
Can I cancel my booking?
Bookings can be cancelled. If you have prepaid we will issue a refund, which can take up to 5 working days to appear in your account.
What extras do you charge for?
There are a few extras we charge which reflect the additional cost we incur. Fridges, freezers and aircon units (anything with coolant) - £75 each. These items are hazardous and must be specially processed to make them safe and ensure there is no environmental risk. Higher charges will apply for large commercial fridges. TV/monitors/laptops - £15 each These items are usually hazardous and must be disposed of at specialist facilities. Mattresses - £75 each These items are very difficult to recycle. They are usually recycled but have to go through a very manual process to achieve this result, which accounts for the additional charge.
Arrival
What time will you come?
By booking online with us today, you can request a same-day waste removal service or choose any date that suits your schedule in real-time. Create your free account with us. Our team will arrive at the time you have chosen.
Are time slots guaranteed?
We arrive on time in almost all cases, but there can be exceptions, for example if the previous job has a lot more waste than expected. We will do our best to keep you informed and you will receive an alert when we are on the way.
How do I know you are on the way?
When we are on the way you will receive an SMS and an email which will tell you the estimated arrival time, the vehicle attending and a tracking link, so you can monitor the progress in real-time. Typically this will give you at least 30 minutes' notice. We can also give you a call when we are on the way or if you need more notice we can usually accommodate this.
Do I need to be in to have my rubbish cleared?
You don’t need to be in, in order for us to collect your rubbish. However, you must have prepaid for your waste or be immediately contactable. Even if you have prepaid for your rubbish we recommend you are contactable in case we have a query. If you are not going to be in it is important the waste is very clearly identifiable and where possible we would recommend a photo is sent to us in advance, which we make available to our removal team on the day. Please remember if we cannot contact you for payment or if the scope of the collection is not clear, the removal of your rubbish may not take place and extra charges may apply if we need to re-attend.
Removing Rubbish on the Day
Do you assess waste on arrival?
Yes, we will assess the waste we are collecting, to make sure there is no hazardous waste. Please note if you have had a previous quote from us and you have added extra waste we will quote the difference.
What if there is a lot more waste on arrival?
We can usually clear as much rubbish as you like, so as long as you are satisfied with the cost this won’t be a hindrance. We’re happy to clear as much waste as you like or if you need time to think about the extra that’s fine too.
Payment Terms and Conditions
Payment Due Date?
Payment Due Date: We remind you that our payment terms are 30 days from date of invoice. Please Note: This applies to businesses that have an account set up with LPM Waste Management Ltd.
Late Payment Charge: If payment is not received within the stated 30-day period, a late payment charge will be applied. The late fee will be calculated at interest rate 50% per month on the outstanding amount, starting from the 31st day after the invoice date.
Continued Delays: In the event that payment remains overdue for an extended period, we reserve the right to suspend any further services or deliveries until the overdue balance is settled in full.
Collection Fees: Any additional costs incurred in the collection of overdue amounts, including but not limited to legal fees, will be the responsibility of the client.
Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card.
